Purpose of this blog

This blog was created to discuss what it means to be Christ like, to explore holiness and what the source of such an attribute is, and how one might express such things in their life.  The goal is to take a deep look into the person of Christ and contrast His personhood against our own and to ponder the depth and width of Him as God, God incarnate.

The source of our discussion is the God breathed word of God, and the wisdom wrought by the presence of the Holy Spirit who dwells in each believer in Christ.

You are invited to comment and dialogue.

Happy Blogging and God’s blessings on you,

Pastor Bill

One of the most “missed” blessings I see in today’s Christian is not recognizing the examples that Christ set for us in his day to day ministry. It’s true he came to die and reconcile us to God the Father, but that is only part of why he came. He says “I have come to give life, and a life more abundant”. I don’t believe he was talking about our life after death. I’m convinced he meant “If you follow my example, your life will be more blessed and abundantly fulfilled.
