Mission Statement We
will glorify God by reaching out to a multicultural, multigenerational,
hurting, un-churched city with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We will be a an example of living a holy life. We will
prepare the saints to go out and duplicate the process of discipleship
in others.

Los Altos is a
church where there is something for everyone. We
believe in community and family. There are three areas of
focus whereby we live out our vision for our heavenly Father.
Worshiping our Lord with all of our heart, mind, soul, and
strength. (Mark
12:30) We follow our Lord Jesus to
become like Him. To
go into all the world and make disciples baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey
everything He has commanded us. (Matthew
28:19,20) We will go out and serve our neighbor
keeping in mind that if we do this for the least of these we have done
it for our Lord. (Matthew
25:31-46)
The vision God has given us is one that is not taken lightly but one we focus on through our faith in Jesus Christ. Everyone has gifts which are valued and we look to each person to add to the complete work God the Father is doing through us. Come as you are and worship with us. There is something for everyone at Los Altos Church of the Nazarene. Just remember one thing. We come as we are to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but He loves us enough not to leave us the way we came. When we come into His presence we leave a changed people. Holiness does not lead us to Jesus. Jesus is the source and cause of holiness. The links at the left are packed with informative information about Nazarenes and who we are and what we believe.
